Promotional Entry Terms
Last updated:
Promotional entries fund competition entries without spending Avid Credits. You can earn them through a campaign or receive a direct award from Avid. An offer with requirements still to complete is separate from available promotional entries.
Joining a campaign
The registration campaign begins when Avid activates it. Existing accounts receive an offer of 10 entries. Accounts registered while the campaign remains open receive the signup offer in effect at their registration time, initially 5 entries. Your Overview shows your own offer, requirements and deadline. A later change to the signup quantity does not change an offer already assigned to you.
Avid may close a campaign to new participants. Accounts already participating retain their offer until its own deadline. Receiving an email, viewing an advertisement or visiting the site does not establish participation or provide a grace period after intake closes. A delayed update to your dashboard does not change your original participation date or offer.
You must be 18 or over, live in England, Scotland or Wales, use an Avid account with access to its registered email, and meet ordinary agreement, account, Registered address and competition-entry requirements. An offer or award does not bypass account blocking or other entry restrictions.
Completing an offer
For the registration campaign, successfully complete a purchase of any Avid Credit pack within your personal 30-day period, before the displayed deadline. That period starts at activation for existing accounts and at registration for new accounts. Closing campaign intake does not shorten this period. Your offer is awarded once; extra purchases do not produce another award or extend its deadline.
Other campaigns may have different requirements, including a purchase during specified dates, a previous successful purchase, or no purchase requirement. The requirements shown for your offer apply. A pending, abandoned, failed or unpaid cancelled purchase does not qualify. A later refund or cancellation of a successfully completed qualifying purchase does not remove promotional qualification.
An offer cannot be spent until qualification is confirmed and entries are awarded. A qualifying purchase completed before the deadline can still be confirmed afterwards. If a completed purchase needs checking, contact us. Missing an offer deadline does not close or invalidate your account.
Direct awards
Avid may award promotional entries directly to your account. Direct awards do not require a campaign or Credit-pack purchase. Their available quantity and expiry appear in your Overview, and the same spending and expiry rules below apply.
Using your entries and expiry
One promotional entry funds one entry into an ordinary competition accepting Avid Credits, whatever its Credit price. Use them together or across competitions. They cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged for cash or converted to Credits.
When entering, choose whether to use your available promotional entries. They fund the selected entries first, with Credits paying for any remainder. Review the displayed split before submitting. A rejected entry consumes neither. Accepted wrong answers consume their funding but cannot win.
Each award expires 12 calendar months after its entries first become available. Your Overview shows the unused quantity and exact expiry for each active award. Entries expiring soonest are used first. Unused entries must be spent before their expiry; expiry does not invalidate entries already accepted or prizes already won. A later purchase or processing retry does not extend an award. Purchased Credits do not expire.
Accepted promotional funding is spent once and is not restored if a competition is cancelled. Only the actual Credits spent follow ordinary Credit-return rules. This does not remove an additional remedy required by law. Promotional funding never becomes a balance of cash, Credits or replacement promotional entries automatically.
Ordinary rules and free postal entry
Normal availability, account limits, questions, Main draws, Instant Wins and prize rules apply. A promotional entry gives no preference over another eligible accepted entry.
Postal entry remains separate and does not spend promotional entries or Credits. You can enter by that route without a qualifying purchase, subject to the Free Entry instructions and your own ordinary postage.
Your information and help
Your Overview shows available awards and outstanding offers. Fully spent awards need not remain visible there; we retain the records needed to account for awards and spending. Account or offer administration messages are separate from optional newsletter marketing. Participating does not subscribe you automatically.
Promotional entries are provided by Avid TCG LTD, trading as Avid Competitions. These conditions supplement the account Terms, Competition Rules and Credits Policy. Our Privacy notice explains information use. Contact us through the public form or [email protected] for assistance.
We will not use a later wording change to remove an already earned award or statutory right. Questions and complaints follow the account Terms, and your statutory rights remain available.
